Making Heavy Vehicle National Law ‘Easy’

about

If you work in the heavy vehicle road transport industry, you would be all too familiar with the complexities of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL).

The HVNL sets highly complex record-keeping and compliance standards for the transport industry and has caused a myriad of issues for thousands of workers struggling to comply due to outdated systems and poor communication.

Here at Hubfleet, it is our mission to make HVNL compliance as simple as possible for drivers and fleet managers alike in Australia.

about

Our all-in-one software solution

As a National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) approved Electronic Work Diary (EWD), our EWD app is integral to drivers’ daily work routines, capturing valuable data about both drivers and equipment, including trucks, trailers, and more.

Our ultimate goal is to provide you with an integrated fleet management system, so you can access actionable insights to help you fine-tune and manage your operations.

To make this happen, we’re committed to working closely with you to really understand your unique requirements, and provide a solution that works.

about

Our Journey

In 2018, the Australian Government introduced reforms allowing the heavy vehicle road transport industry to use Electronic Work Diaries (EWDs) and electronic systems to carry out all rostering, procedures, and responsibilities related to drivers and fleet managers. This was the first spark that started us on the journey to creating Hubfleet.

The Hubfleet Electronic Work Diary (EWD) received its formal approval from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) In February of 2022. By May of that year, it became the first EWD to achieve a higher level of “device agnostic” approval.

Since then, we have expanded our product range to include tools for fatigue management, maintenance, and mass accreditation, all in line with the HVNL and Work Safe WA legislation.

We pride ourselves on maintaining strong, positive relationships with our users, ensuring they get maximum value from our products.

If you’re ready to take a step forward in your business, we’d love to do the same for you.

Our Approach

Heavy vehicle transport plays a crucial role in the Australian economy. Unfortunately, the industry has historically been plagued by outdated practices and technologies, including proprietary software systems that are hard to integrate with other platforms.

Hubfleet has disrupted this by introducing modern software solutions that break away from old-fashioned lock-in contracts and incompatible systems. Instead, we promote efficiency, interoperability, and competition within the sector.

Open Integration

Our software solutions are designed to be open and compatible. This means seamless integration with other software platforms and technologies, creating a more connected and unified ecosystem for the trucking industry.

This approach means you can choose the best-in-class solutions for your specific needs and easily integrate them into your existing operations.

Flexibility

Hubfleet offers flexible software solutions that empower companies to adapt to changing business requirements. Rather than relying on locking you into a rigid contract, we rely on the fact that our product is innovative and effective to keep our customers happy.

Customer-Centric Approach

At the end of the day, the most important thing is what our customers want. By prioritising product excellence, we’re aligned with the needs and preferences of you, our customers.

We believe in understanding your pain points, actively seeking feedback from those on the ground, and continuously developing our product based on user feedback. Our product designers and developers value and learn from their interactions with you.

Innovation and Technical foundations

By focusing on continuous product improvement, we differentiate our product through unique features, user experience enhancements, and performance improvements.

Strong Technical Foundations

Our success is built on an extremely strong technical foundation. By utilising the most up-to-date software architecture we’ve developed a system that is fast, reliable, scalable, and seamlessly handles Australia’s patchy mobile network.
