Do I need my employer's permission?

No. The $14/month driver plan is for individual drivers. You can use Hubfleet even if your company uses paper logbooks.

Is it legal if my company doesn't use it?

Yes. As long as YOU are using an NHVR-approved EWD (which Hubfleet is), you're compliant. Your employer can still use paper for their records if they want.

What if I get pulled over?

Show the enforcement officer your phone with the Hubfleet app. They can see your full work diary history. Hubfleet is NHVR-approved and accepted by all regulators.

Can I use it offline in remote areas?

Yes. Hubfleet works offline and syncs when you get signal. Perfect for regional and remote driving.

What if my phone dies or breaks?

Your records are stored in the cloud. Log in on any device and your full history is there. We recommend keeping a phone charger in your truck.

Can I switch to paper if I need to?

You can cancel anytime. Your records are always available to export if you need them.

Is the subscription tax deductible?

For most professional drivers, yes — Hubfleet is a work-related expense and tax deductible. We email you a tax invoice each month showing GST. Check with your accountant for your specific situation.
