What about split rest under HVNL?

Under HVNL, split rest is restricted to solo drivers only and emergency or unforeseeable circumstances only — it can no longer be pre-scheduled in rosters. This is a significant change from current BFM/AFM, where planned split rest is common for bus operators running split shifts. If a driver needs to split rest due to illness, breakdown, or other emergency, at least one rest block must be 6 hours continuous with a total of at least 8 hours rest.
